EBBP#6 – British Cuteness

YAY! Yesterday I received my parcel from a fellow foodie blogger, participating in EBBP#6 – Euro Blogging by Post, kindly hosted by Johanna at The Passionate Cook. I waited for the morning and some better light than last night, though, to take a picture of all the goodies Jenni over at pertelote.org packed for me.

(And Jenni might have infected me with a virus called Librarything, too… ;-) )

EBBP#6 Parcel from Pertelote

Along with the goodies came a very kind and funny letter, including some traditional British Royal gossip, and pages from a magazine featuring an interview with Giorgio Locatelli and an excerpt from his latest book - I can hardly wait to settle down with a cup of hot chocolate or a glass of wine and read this.

Thank you Jenni, this is a great gift package, and I just love every detail of it!

Detail, as in…

…what could I name first… of course, since the title of this post is about cuteness, the little knitted jumper / egg warmer to keep my breakfast eggs cosy and warm, along with an egg cup. This will have a prominent position on my Sunday breakfast table :-) .

Then, there are the absolutely gorgeous and delicious mango, white chocolate and cardamom biscuits Jenni baked and packed neatly in a tupperware container. They taste as good as they smell (which is heavenly). Since I love anything mango and cookies and muffins with white choc are among my favourites, these are perfect!

To go with the biscuits Jenni added a jar of tea from Mariage Frères in France. Another heavenly scented foodie gift I will try soon, probably in the neat and cute little tea infuser decorated with a love bug which was also in the parcel.

I am not only a Foodfreak, but also a coffee aficionado, so the chocolate covered espresso beans are a sweet treat to my liking. And I am really curious about organic “treacle tart” chocolate from Hope&Greenwood.

The last but not the least item in the package is a small cupcake which is actually a ball of bath salt (Cheeky Chimp berry cupcake bath fizzer). Guess what will be in my bathtub tomorrow…. :)

Thanks again to Jenni for this wonderful and creative parcel and to Johanna for hosting this event!

flattr this!

The egg cup sounds great! I love the fact that this package is not entirely edible. It gives me a few ideas for the future…
